The Karnataka Event Management Association (KEMA) is proud to announce the much-anticipated elections for its 4th Executive Committee. The elections will take place on March 27, 2025, at the prestigious Taj MG Road in Bangalore. With 13 influential positions open for election, this event marks a significant milestone in KEMA’s journey of fostering leadership, collaboration, and excellence within the event management industry.

This election presents an opportunity for all bonafide KEMA members to step forward, nominate themselves, and contribute actively to shaping the future of the association. A KEMA spokesperson expressed excitement about the upcoming elections, stating, “We anticipate a dynamic contest filled with capable leaders who can bring fresh perspectives while upholding the values and integrity of KEMA.”

Election Timeline & Procedures

1. Call for Nominations:

  • Opening Date: February 20, 2025
  • Closing Date: March 15, 2025, by 5:00 PM
  • Withdrawal of Nominations: Allowed until March 17, 2025, by 5:00 PM
 

2. Notification of Members:

  • Official election details, including bank account details for election fees and refundable deposits, will be shared with members via the KEMA WhatsApp group.
 

3. Scrutiny of Applications:

  • The KEMA Election Committee will review all applications.
  • The list of eligible candidates will be announced on March 17, 2025, via the WhatsApp group.
 

4. Election Date & Time:

  • March 27, 2025
  • Taj MG Road, Bangalore
  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
 

5. Voting Procedure:

  • All eligible members must bring a government-issued photo ID.
  • Ballots will be provided to members at the venue.
  • Votes will be cast and deposited in a secure locked ballot box.
 

6. Vote Counting & Results:

  • After the voting period ends, the locked ballot box will be opened by the Scrutinizer and team for counting.
  • Election results will be declared on the same day.
  • KEMA members will not be involved in the vote counting process, ensuring transparency and fairness.
 

7. Voter Eligibility:

  • Members who have joined on or before March 8, 2025, will be eligible to vote.
  • Members admitted after this date will not be eligible to vote.
 

8. Membership Dues Requirement:

  • Members must clear all pending membership dues by March 7, 2025, to be eligible to vote.

  1. Take a printout of this form
  2. Fill all details and sign the form
  3. Make the payment of ₹10,000 to the KEMA account
  4. Fill details of payment in the form
  5. Signature of Proposed by and Seconded by also
  6. Scan the form and mail it to the email IDs mentioned in the form: admin@kemakar.com, accounts@kemakar.com
