Terms and Conditions for KEMA Members and Membership

Welcome to the Karnataka Event Management Association (KEMA). As a member, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions governing membership, association credentials, and member conduct.

Membership Guidelines

  1. Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals, organizations, and businesses directly or indirectly associated with the event management industry.
  2. Application: Membership is granted upon the Executive Committee’s successful review and approval of the application.
  3. Membership Fees: Members must pay the prescribed membership fee, as determined by KEMA. Failure to pay the fee may result in suspension or termination of membership.
  4. Membership Renewal: Members must renew their membership annually by paying the renewal fee within the stipulated time.
  5. Revocation of Membership: KEMA reserves the right to revoke membership in cases of unethical behavior, violation of association policies, or misuse of membership privileges.

 

Use of Association Credentials

  1. Members are prohibited from using KEMA’s name, logo, or credentials for personal, commercial, or public purposes without prior written permission from the Executive Committee.
  2. Any misuse of KEMA’s credentials, including unauthorized representation or endorsement, will lead to strict action, including legal proceedings, if necessary.
  3. Members must seek approval before using KEMA’s name or logo in any promotional or marketing material.

 

Code of Conduct for Members

  1. Members must maintain professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards in all their dealings with the association, both inside and outside.
  2. Members are expected to uphold the dignity and reputation of KEMA at all times.
  3. Members must not use the association or its platform to promote personal or business agendas that conflict with KEMA’s principles.
  4. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unethical practices will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of membership.
  5. Members must refrain from sharing confidential information or internal matters of the association with external parties without proper authorization.

 

Prohibition of Unauthorized Use

  1. Members are strictly prohibited from using KEMA’s name, platform, or resources for public or personal gain without written permission from the Executive Committee.
  2. The association must pre-approve any event, campaign, or activity conducted under the banner of KEMA.
  3. Violating this clause will be treated as a breach of trust and result in disciplinary action.

 

Grievance Redressal

  1. Members with grievances are encouraged to report their concerns to the Ethics or Executive Committee in writing.
  2. The association will address grievances fairly and promptly while ensuring confidentiality.

 

Amendments

KEMA reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these terms and conditions as necessary. Members will be informed of any changes through official communication channels.

KEMA’s mission is to create a collaborative and professional ecosystem for the event management industry, and your adherence to these guidelines ensures the association’s success and integrity.
